Dental Compliance Institute FAQ:
Absolutely! Any dental professional working in the compliance arena or desiring to learn more about regulatory requirements as they relate to dentistry is welcome to join. Our members include OSHA Coordinators/Safety Officers, Chief Dental Officers, dentists, practice administrators, assistants, hygienists, and consultants to name a few. So whether you are eager to start a career in dentistry or advance your current career, DCI is the #1 community to join!
Among the exclusive DCI benefits, you’ll receive the Member’s only newsletter, access to the Member’s private Facebook Forum to participate in community conversations and post questions as well as access to the Members only online Knowledge Center that includes resources, tools, video tips, closed cases, and more. Members receive discounts on DCI programs and courses. DCI also has several key professional emphasis groups for dental compliance consultants, DSO members, and DCI course graduates.
Credentials are well-recognized throughout all areas of education. DCI believes that compliance is no different. Achieving compliance credentials serves to advance your career and knowledge, and supports a culture of safety throughout dentistry. Earning compliance credentials is a mark of distinction that helps you stand out in the industry. The foundational coursework behind our credentials is modeled after and recognized by an educational group called Quality Matters.
What distinguishes our courses from a seminar or CE course is that they were created using the Quality Matters research-supported educational standards and best practices. Quality Matters is the global organization leading quality assurance in online and innovative digital teaching and learning environments. Each course mirrors a traditional online educational experience with self-review questions, learning activities, interaction with an assigned Teaching Assistant, and more.
We can proudly say that our Advanced OSHA course is a QM-Certified Course!
Yes, you can certainly pay for each component separately. However, paying for the Advanced Course and credentials exam together ensures there will be no fee increase at a later time.
Upon successfully passing the credentials exam you are awarded the appropriate designation to use behind your name and you will receive an embossed signed certificate in the mail. You will be prompted to activate your 1-yr free membership in DCI, if you have not already done so. Credentials are required to be renewed annually. Please refer to “maintaining credentials” for more information.
You will now have access to all the exclusive member benefits as well as becoming a member of the Graduates only Master Mind professional emphasis group where we discuss current and emerging topics.
Credentials are required to be renewed annually to ensure you are staying abreast of the latest changes in the industry. Renewal requirements will be emailed to you upon graduation. The renewal cycle starts 1-yr after receiving your credential(s). If you fail to renew your certification, you are no longer considered current and may not use the credential in professional communications such as on letterhead, business cards, website, social media, or in your signature.
