Recruiting and Retaining Top Talent in the New World of Work
No one has to tell you how tough it is to find and keep staff these days. While the fundamentals of recruiting and retention haven’t changed, the context in which we practice those fundamentals has changed irreversibly by the events of the last two years. Richard Hadden has studied the workforce for more than 20 years and spoken to and advised hundreds of employers on the subject.
This session offers timely tips on where to look, how to “sell” your practice or organization to prospective employees, and how to build a culture that keeps people on your team for years to come.

Charting for Compliance and Specificity
Our documentation often lacks the specificity required to prove medical necessity. Failure to document accurately can be problematic resulting in compliance audits by payers or an investigation by any government agency. In this course, we will discuss the pitfalls of documentation, who can be held accountable, and who can investigate.
We all have savvy patients in our practice. The Savvy Patient™ can and will complain. Have you encountered the Savvy Patient™? If not, you will at some point in your practice. Join us to discover what these patients are up to.

Staying Ahead of the Regulatory Curve
No doubt maintaining optimal compliance the past several years has been challenging to say the least. Yet, as we bounce forward toward the future, remaining “regulation-proof” is critical. After all, complaints, fines, and penalties have not decreased throughout the pandemic.
Similar to 2021, this year also started off with new a new federal regulation. Looking ahead, we can expect additional new as well as updated regulations also impacting dentistry. This session discusses incorporating a forward-looking focus into your culture of safety and compliance. Stay ahead of the regulatory curve and safeguard your practice or organization.

Scaling up Your Culture of Compliance
Do you have what it takes to ensure your practices can stand up to the scrutiny of a regulatory inspection? Compliance management and scalability can be a slippery slope and it takes an “all swim mentality” to have a successful program.
As more dentists are choosing to become members of multi-provider practices, groups with multiple offices, or supported by a dental service organization, a culture of compliance and the scalability of your program are most often difficult to maintain. Join us as we discuss ways help your teams work safer and minimize compliance concerns through communication and accountability.
